Vertical Reflexology is a powerful but brief reflexology technique that was discovered and developed by reflexologist Lynne Booth in the early 1990's and is applied to the dorsal weight-bearing feet or hands and has been taught to over 8000 reflexologists internationally. In 2011 VRT received a Highly Commended Award for its Outstanding Contribution to Complementary Medicine by the Institute of Complementary and Natural Medicine (ICNM).
The late Eunice Ingham originated, researched and developed reflexology as it is known today. Reflexology has grown to international proportions under the able direction of her nephew Dwight Byers, today's leading authority. The IIR is the only reflexology school licensed to teach the Original Ingham MethodR. If you are looking for a reflexologist it is important to find someone who is properly trained and experienced and can demonstrate just how effective reflexology can be at improving your health and well-being. Not all reflexologists are trained to the same standards.
